His illustrious academic  journey has been remarkable to say the least. He got into prestigious AIIMS New Delhi in 2012 (All India Rank 25) in ophthalmology. He then went on to become a fellow of the Royal college of Surgeons, Glasgow UK and then Royal college of Ophthalmologists, London UK. In 2025, he successfully got certification in laser and cataract refractive surgery CertLRS, UK,  amongst the first ophthalmologists practicing in India with such rare distinction.  

He specialises in a wide spectrum of laser refractive surgical procedures including Smile Pro, Femtosecond LASIK, Topoguided LASIK, complex laser surgeries, Enhancement, PRK. He is an expert in Phakic IOL implantation for high myoic patients(IPCL/ICL). He excels in advanced cataract surgery and has vast experience in use of premium IOLs(intraocular lenses) including Toric, trifocals and EDOF IOLs. He is actively involved in training and research activities. He is also an external examiner for national and international examinations.
